There are indeed many common cleaning methods used for cleaning aluminum doors and windows. Many of these can be defined as ” homemade, ” as they are mainly based on products that we can easily find inside our homes.
One of the first methods used is based on only two products: common dish soap and kitchen vinegar. You will have to create a solution with these two products, mixing them, then you will apply the obtained on your aluminum door and rinse carefully.
A small variation of this method can be achieved by using Castile soap. In this case, you must first clean the door with a damp cloth, wash with soap, and only then remove it using the mixture of water and vinegar.

Obviously, it is necessary to avoid using abrasive tools, such as steel wool, to remove any stubborn dirt. If so, wet and let the dirt soften until it comes off easily. The manufacturers’ advice is to wash with a neutral and non-abrasive cleaning product.
