How to choose the right indoor plant
How many times, coming into our house, we have noted that this and that plant are just ugly, because certainly not treated in the right way: should be more or less wet … On the contrary, their home, of course, everything shines, the dust does not exist, and the plants are green, with no leaf ruined and lush … Unfortunately, not all have a green thumb, and it is not at all a fault!
Indoor plants, among other things, are much more delicate and sensitive than those from outside, just because of the closed environment where they need to be: it is not at all easy to cherish them in the right way because each needs special care to each other than the other: ask a gardener or a florist!
So here is some simple advice and ingenuity: to choose the right plant, to put in your own home: you find the environmental conditions suitable for their livelihood in your home!
Obviously, during this choice, it is imperative to consider the tastes of the owner and especially its habits and attitudes: not all have such a passion for spending half an hour every day to care for a plant or example, there who by day opens the blinds to let in as much light as possible and those who prefer the twilight …
Not least are to be considered the type of furniture and the presence of pets and children or children at home.
And then to decide whether the choice of the type of plant to be purchased must also respect the current fashion, or if you can safely go against the tide.
In this sense, today is the minimalist style furniture and plants’ tendency to counter the fashion. Instead, they will be chosen plants rich, colorful and large, maybe put in vases decorated. To choose the right plant for your apartment, it must be remembered, at least the following conditions:
- Light: evaluate the brightness of the apartment. Because a plant remains pretty long, it must be exposed to light.
- Air: must also consider, as a function of doors and windows, air currents, selecting. As a result, a place sheltered but still bright.
- Conditioners, humidifiers, and heaters: we must consider the presence of heat or cold sources in the house at the periods of their operation.
- Moisture: it is good to assess whether it is believed to place the plant, either a humid place or not, so there are no surprises.
Here we have some tips for caring for the plant:
- Spray the leaves regularly.
- If possible, for plants that need a lot of light, better to choose local, facing south or east.
- Precautions: If there are small children in the house animals that can unintentionally damage the plant, the better position in a location is not accessible or at least protected with appropriate retinas.
- Feed: periodically, depending on the type of plant, the soil should be fed with special fertilizers or nutrients to provide the right inputs to the plant.
