How to Clean Induction Plates

If we use induction cookers in our kitchen, it will be necessary to carefully inform yourself how to clean them properly, without causing scratches. We find some specialized chemical products on the market, but it will be advisable to prefer natural products, which we can easily find at home. So let’s see some useful tips on how to clean induction plates.

Needed: Lemon, Sodium bicarbonate, Vinegar, Alcohol, Hydrogen peroxide, Soft cloth.

To clean the induction plate, we can make a slightly abrasive paste. To prepare this product, we then take some glycerin paste and mix it with lemon juice and baking soda, obtaining a velvety substance, gently washing away the dirt. It will also carry out a light abrasive action thanks to the bicarbonate, while the lemon will be very degreasing, so we can easily make the glass of the plates return as new.

If the plates have stains, such as oil or sauce, vinegar will be a great way to clean them thoroughly without scratching them. The important thing will be to leave it on the stains, after which it will be enough to rub lightly with a sponge, and finally rinse everything, and then move on to dry with a soft cloth.

Another natural product able to thoroughly clean the induction plates in the kitchen is hydrogen peroxide, which we should pour on the stains and small incrustations to dissolve them and then remove them with a sponge.

If the plates, after washing, show traces of limescale, then to make them shiny again, it is sufficient to use a cloth slightly soaked in alcohol. If we find some particularly unsightly small scratches on the plate, especially when they are filled with dirt, we can intervene by trying to make them disappear as much as possible.

For this cleaning operation designed to remove the dirt that has been undermined in the scratches, we can use a substance based on talc, alcohol, and vinegar. Then rubbing with circular movements over the entire surface, we can penetrate the grooves, equating them to the external part.

We use the cream paste, which will be an excellent polishing agent, together with the baking soda. Finally, let’s spend a few minutes and remove everything with a woolen cloth. In this way, the plates will be shiny and shiny again as they were original.
